New Cards - 21/02/2009

Really pleased with how this card has turned out. I made it using Delish Designs papers, stamped the message and scroll using a blue/gold brocade embossing powder and lots of matting and layering. I have also used dark blue organza ribbon and jewelled brads. Not sure if it is clear from this picture - the criss-crossed piece of card is actually a bookmark that I have tucked into a little pocket on the back of the front flap.
The card below is made using the fab Wassail papers from Basic Grey. These are essentially Christmas papers but I think they look great for any occasion. You can't see it very well but the centre image is a pyramid stacked floral design that I have embossed using UTEE. Added some organza and satin ribbons to finish.
Thisnew baby card is actually a triple fold card using a kit I bought from QVC last year and some other bits and pieces from my craft stash.

I made this baby card into a shaker using sequins and tiny beads.
This is the inside of the baby card. The tags can be removed to write messages on.

These cards are beautiful, Sue. I am quite envious as my cards always turn out rubbish and/or weird.
